Safety is something we take seriously at home. This chapter sets it all out in one place — how the home and the estate are kept safe, and what we ask of you — so that nothing here is ever a surprise. None of it is about not trusting you. 安全是我们很在意的事。这一章一次讲清楚：家里和小区的安全是怎么安排的、我们希望你怎么配合——让你不会遇到「不知道为什么」的情况。这些都不是因为不信任你。
Most areas of the home have cameras. They are here for two reasons, and neither is about you — home safety, so that we can protect the home against intruders or accidents when we are away; and, more important to us, the baby's safety once the baby arrives. We are on them too — it is not a one-way window.家里大部分地方装有摄像头。装它们有两个原因，都不是针对你：一是家庭安全——我们不在家时，防小偷、防意外；二是我们更看重的——宝宝出生后的安全。我们自己也在画面里，不是只照着你一个人。
Before the baby comes, we will show you how everything works and run a few short tests, so it all feels familiar. If anything looks off, just tell us.宝宝出生前，我们会带你熟悉它们怎么用、也做几次简单测试，让你先上手。有什么不对劲，随时跟我们说。
You will mainly notice cameras in the common areas, and in the areas where we are active — not everywhere. Your own room and the bathroom are your private space; there are no cameras there.摄像头主要出现在公共区域，以及我们日常活动的地方——并不是到处都是。你自己的房间和洗手间是你的私人空间，那里没有摄像头。

The clubhouse and every entrance to our estate are opened with a card or an Octopus. Please keep yours with you whenever you go in or out.会所和我们小区的所有出入口，都要刷卡或用八达通。进出时请随身带好你自己那张。
Your key has an AirTag on it, so if it ever goes missing, it is easy to find. Please keep it in the same place at home, so it is always within reach.你的钥匙上有一个 AirTag——万一不见了也能很快找到。在家里请固定放一个地方，随时拿得到。
Your card, Octopus and key are only for you. Please do not lend them to anyone, and do not let anyone in with them.你的卡、八达通和钥匙只供你自己使用。请不要借给别人，也不要凭它带人进来。
When you go in or out of the estate, keep an eye out for anyone quietly following you in. If anything feels off, tell the estate's security staff right away, or message us — no need to wonder alone. It is just how neighbours here look out for one another.进出小区时，留意有没有人跟着你一起进。若有任何不确定，马上告诉小区安保人员，或者给我们发信息——不用一个人瞎琢磨。这只是小区里大家互相照应的习惯。
There are not many cars around, but please still take care. Cars can come up quickly, so look properly before crossing.周边车虽然不多，但还是要注意安全。车速有时比较快，过马路前要看清楚。
If anything worries you — a stranger, a lost key, something broken — tell us the same day. The first time we will not be upset; we would much rather know.不管是陌生人、钥匙丢了，还是东西坏了，只要让你不安，请当天告诉我们。第一次我们不会生气——知道，比不知道好得多。
The estate's security staff are there around the clock — it is what they are for. For anything urgent, message or call us; in a real emergency, call 999.小区安保 24 小时都在——就是为这个准备的。有急事给我们发信息或打电话；真正的紧急情况，打 999。
